From 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, students from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences First Year Seminar will be presenting the research posters they have developed in the course. The presentations will take place in the recently renovated multipurpose room on the first floor of Newman Library, behind the library café. Refreshments will be provided, and students will be present to discuss their research.
The First Year Seminar is a collaborative project across several units within the college, including: Human nutrition, foods and exercise; agricultural and extension education; animal and poultry science; crop and soil environmental science; and food science and technology. The course is designed to promote a multidisciplinary perspective on agricultural and life sciences by exploring disciplinary topics and problems and participating in research and inquiry projects.
