The CALS Staff Professional Development Workshop was held on Sept. 5, 2013, at CrossPointe in Christiansburg, Va. The workshop included sessions on Health and Wellness, Campus Safety, Generations at Work, Communications, Workplace Ergonomics, Food Safety, Financial Planning, iPad Training, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution and Virginia Tech Benefits. The workshop has received positive feedback and the hope is for it to become an annual event.
