Virginia Cooperative Extension is pleased to showcase its new visual identity and logo this week after lengthy development process.
“We believe the new logo reflects a modern image that embodies the partnership between Virginia Tech and Virginia State University,” said Ed Jones, director of Virginia Cooperative Extension. “We are excited to enhance Virginia Cooperative Extension’s visual identity as we approach Extension’s 100th anniversary next year.
“Our logo and our visual identity play an important role in helping people make a connection to the services and programs we provide. We must do a better job of linking our name and our brand messages to our positive brand experiences. By using the design elements consistently, the value of the Virginia Cooperative Extension brand is preserved with each use,” said Jones.
