Registration is open for the 2013 VCE Professional Development Conference to be held at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, January 29-31, 2013.
All VCE faculty — agents, 4-H Center Directors, and 4-H Center Program Directors, and Extension specialists and administrators from VT and VSU — are all expected to attend. Unit 4-H program assistants who are working in lieu of a 4-H agent are also invited to participate. Agents should notify their district director if they are unable to participate.
The conference website contains the conference agenda, lodging and meal information, workshop schedule and descriptions, and the conference registration link.
Be sure to read the conference information thoroughly before completing your registration. As usual with VCE professional development events, we are requesting participants to share a room. So you may want to check ahead of time on a roommate before completing your registration.
Do not make your reservations with The Inn directly. We already have a very large block of rooms reserved. You must use the registration system mentioned above to make your lodging reservation. Rooms at The Inn and workshops will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Rooms with two participants will be filled first at The Inn. Overflow lodging will be made for participants across the street at the Holiday Inn, Blacksburg.
The deadline for registration is Monday, January 7, at 8 a.m.
Upon completion of your online registration, you will be sent an email confirmation that your registration was received. Final lodging information and workshop selections will be shared with registrants by Jan. 15.
