Chili cook-off and CVC progress

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ Chili Cook-off was held Nov. 14.

Sherri Jackson won first place among the 10 entries in the competition with her venison and sausage chili. The cook-off raised $400 toward the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign. Thanks to everyone who participated!

To date, CALS and Virginia Cooperative Extension have raised $37,993. That’s 88.23% toward the overall goal. If you haven’t contributed to the CVC yet, please think of doing so soon!
