Robert Grisso named associate director of Virginia Cooperative Extension

Robert “Bobby” Grisso, professor of biological systems engineering and farm equipment and safety specialist for Virginia Cooperative Extension, has been named associate director of agriculture and natural resources for VCE.

In this role, Grisso will work closely with industry partners, stakeholders, and other state agencies and university programs at Virginia Tech and Virginia State University to identify critical issues and develop knowledge-based resources to address the needs of Virginia’s agriculture and natural resources sectors.

“I am looking forward to the challenge of making Extension programs more effective and accessible to our Virginia clientele,” he said.
