May 12: Historic Smithfield Plant Sale

Location: Historic Smithfield Plantation

An annual sale featuring a wide variety of healthy, locally grown herbs, vegetables, annuals and perennials from Crow’s Nest Greenhouses, as well as a selection of plants from the Smithfield garden and gardeners. Knowlegeable volunteers will be available all day to answer your questions and assist you with plant selection and care. This is the perfect opportunity to get a gorgeous Mother’s Day gift that keeps on flowering. Botanically themed books and heritage seed packets will be on sale in Smithfield’s Museum Store. Smithfield house will be open for guided tours throughout the day at regular admission prices. Visitors are invited to explore the Smithfield garden, orchard, annd outbuildings at their leisure at no charge.
