Call for Program Submissions: International Education Week

The Council of International Student Organizations (CISO) is partnering with Cranwell International Center (CIC) to coordinate this year’s International Week @ Virginia Tech (VT), November 14-18, 2016. This coincides with the nationally recognized International Education Week (IEW), which is a joint initiative of the US Department of State and the US Department of Education.

International Week @ VT is an opportunity to showcase the university’s growing global diversity and commitment to internationalization. We are requesting program submissions that do just that. We encourage submissions of a wide range of information sessions, workshops, seminars, tours, presentations, and more from a diverse representation of departments, centers, student groups, and the broader community for inclusion in the 2016 International Week Schedule of Events. Events taking place during the weekends before and after IEW will also be included. Please submit your event by no later than October 11, 2016 at 5pm to be included in the event calendar and other promotional materials.

How do I submit my program?

You pick the topic, a date and time between November 14-18 (or the weekends before and after), and secure the location, and then submit your event on GobblerConnect. As you prepare your program submission(s), Cranwell International Center is available to serve as a resource by offering feedback and/or ideas. Please contact Lia Kelinsky at
