The University Libraries is hiring two student positions to support research, planning, and development of a pilot Master Health Literacy program*:

Project Research Assistant – 8-12 hours per week, $20/hour, 5-Month Temporary, January – June 15, 2017. (Required Qualifications: VT student standing; Excellent communication skills (oral and written); Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in library research skills, including using research databases and other searching methods; Demonstrated experience in conducting a literature review)
Instruction and Program Development Assistant – 8-12 hours per week, $20/hour, 5-Month Temporary, January – June 15, 2017. (Required: VT graduate student standing; Excellent communication skills (oral and written); Teaching experience)

The Campus Kitchen Project is a national organization that promotes student involvement in combating food waste and hunger. The Campus Kitchen at Virginia Tech works to collect surplus food from on-campus dining halls and help transform it into healthy meals that are distributed to food insecure individuals throughout the NRV.
