Brian Plum joins Advancement Office

Brian Plum has joined the CALS Advancement Office as the assistant director of development for leadership gifts. In this role, he will work with the CALS advancement team to secure private support for the college.

Plum hails from a small farm in King George, Virginia. He earned degrees at both Longwood University and George Mason University. After completing his masters, Plum worked in sustainable agriculture and food security with the Peace Corps in Guatemala for over two years. Upon his return to the states, he worked with a variety of non-profit organizations in Virginia and Colorado. Most recently, he and his wife Stephanie spent two years traveling the world.
