Relay for Life registration now open for CALS Ambassadors team

Students, faculty, and staff are gearing up for this year’s Relay for Life event on April 20. To join the CALS Ambassadors Relay for Life team this year and help reach the colleges $1,500 goal, please register today. Be sure to enter the team name, “CALS Ambassadors.”

Even if you can’t make the event, you can support the team by signing up to help. The $10 registration fee covers the cost of your t-shirt and helps with event set-up fees.

The Drillfield is covered in tents as the 2011 Relay for Life event officially begins.

Virginia Tech Relay for Life is the number one collegiate Relay for Life in the world. Last year Virginia Tech raised more than $630,000 to help fund cancer research and support. Every April, more than 6,000 students, faculty, and staff gather on the Virginia Tech Drillfield and stay up all night to “Celebrate the survivors, Remember those whom we have lost, and Fight Back to see a world with no cancer and more birthdays.
