Epsilon Sigma Phi Awards and Recognitions

Several Extension faculty members were recognized at the Annual VESA Conference held on May 18 at Sweet Briar College. During the Epsilon Sigma Phi luncheon, awards were presented for state winners in program excellence categories, as well as for Epsilon Sigma Phi.

Outstanding Team Award – Karen Munden, Virginia Beach FCS, and Lindsay Dawley, Virginia Beach 4-H

Friend of Extension – Bill Kreider, Prince George volunteer, nominated by Hermon Maclin, Prince George 4-H

New Life Member – Glenda Snyder, Roanoke 4-H

Less Than 5 Year Award from Epsilon Sigma Phi – Cassie Driskill, Botetourt ANR, and Kim Mayo, Fluvanna 4-H

Early Career Award – Jenny Thompson, Lousia 4-H

Mid-Career Award – Billie Jean Elmer, Surry 4-H

Diversity/Multicultural Award – Carol Nansel, Shenandoah 4-H

Distinguished Service Award – Corey Childs, Loudoun ANR

Outstanding Individual Award – Brad Jarvis, Madison ANR

Southeast District Meritorious Service Award – Mary Mills, New Kent UAA

State Meritorious Support Award – Nancy Lawler, Orange UAA
